Вилла Oleandra
Villa Oleandra was built in 1930 in the Liberty style and is included in the register of historic villas of Lake Como. Located in the famous valley Intelvi, which is the most ancient and shortest way from the Italian part if Lake Como to Switzerland and further on to Lake Lugano, the Villa is in the town of Dizzasco close to the famous town of Argegno – officially called Portofino on Lake Como!
Villa Oleandra offers an impressive view of the Alpine peaks, so you can enjoy the fresh mountain air, the singing of birds, the blossom of wild cherries (to be compared with the cherry blossom of Fujiyama) on the mountain slopes, and the constantly changing colours of landscapes, that change the color and the shade thanks to the movement of the sun and clouds – everything that will not leave indifferent the most refined gourmet or the holiday dweller.
It is especially pleasant to drink a morning cup of coffee, walk slowly through the center of the ancient town of Dizzasco (founded in XII century), follow the mountain river full of trout and listen to the storks living in the area, on the way back to jump into the to the farmshop and buy fresh homemade goat cheese, sausages, eggs, fresh milk, so can admire the goats grazing in the alpine meadows and the measured way of rural life.
The ideal position (far from the town center)of Villa Oleandra with a large private territory offers both a family relaxing holiday, and gives the opportunity to hold private parties and events.
Villa Oleandra was completely renovated in March 2020 and is ready to accommodate up to 16 guests in 6 bedrooms.
The Villa consists of 8 bedrooms, living rooms with a fireplace, terraces, a winter garden, a nice Italian garden sunbathing areas and a fountain.
